Scorpio, Passenger vehicle collision in Katra, one dead

Jammu: One person died on the spot while a lady was injured when a Scorpio Car and a passenger vehicle rammed into each other near Didi Morh Aghar Jitto area Katra here.

According to officials the deceased has been identified as namely Mehraj-ud-Din son of Md. Yousaf age 52 residence of Sajroo, Mahore who died on spot and his wife sustained injuries.

Mehraj u din was driving the Scorpio.

Police officials said that an accident took place between Bus reg no JK 02BL 3247 and Scorpio No JK20 6575 near Didi Morh Aghar Jitto area in which driver of the Scorpio namely Mehraj-ud-Din son of Md. Yousaf age 52 residence of Sajroo, Mahore died on spot and his wife injured.

“Both the vehicle comes from opposite directions and collided with each other. Injured lady has been reffered to GMC Jammu after giving first aid in Katra,” they said.
