Gunfight rages in Budgam

Srinagar: Gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Zugoo Arizal area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district early morning on Thursday.

Army’s 53RR, SOG and CRPF laid a siege around Zugoo, Arizal after recieving credible input about presence of some militants in the area.

SSP Budgam Tajinder Singh confirmed  the gunfight.

Meanwhile authorities have suspended internet services in the district.

‘People tried to March towards the gunfight site but were dispersed by police,”they said.
