Sopore : Unknown persons set on fire a Panchayat Ghar at Nowpor village of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday evening.
SSP Sopore Javid Iqbal confirmed the incident and told INS that a panchayat building was set afire in Nowpora Sopore around 8:00 p.m. by unknown persons. The fire tenders rushed to the spot and put out the blaze, the official said. The incident comes few days ahead of Panchayat elections in the incident.
