Srinagar: Massive funeral prayers were held for of slain four militants killed in a gunfight with government forces in Arwini area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district last night.

Locals said tha thousands of people, men, women and children marched to Arwini, Watoo Aharbal and Damhal Hanjipora where the slain militants belonged.

They said that multiple rounds of funeral prayers were offered to Owais Lone of Hizbul Mujahideen and Muzamil Magray and Amir Tantray of Lashkar-e-Toiba outfit. Amidst vociferous slogans, all the slain militants were laid to rest.

A large number of people, reports said, also attended funeral prayers of Hizb militant Sahir Makroo at Arwini.
