Srinagar:  The state congress chief, G A Mir on Saturday thanked people for extending its supprot to the party to keep BJP at bay in the recently held ULB polls in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that by voting in favour of Congress, the people rejected BJP-RSS in the Valley, saying that the BJP and its allied forces were hellbent to grab the power in Kashmir through ULB polls.
