Polling to begin at 6 am for participation of more people: CEO Jammu & Kashmir

Srinagar: The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Jammu and Kashmir Shaleen Kabra has said that the polling will begin at 6 am, if necessary for the participation of more people in the second phase of civic polls.

A notification issued by the CEO said that the timings for the poll, if necessary, shall be from 6am and end at the already scheduled time 4pm.

The second phase of the polls is scheduled on October 10 tomorrow.

The first phase of the polls was held on October 8 yesterday in 422 wards of Jammu and Kashmir.
