V K Singh meets Governor

Srinagar: V.K. Singh, Special DGP, Police Head Quarter, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here on Tuesday.
Singh briefed Governor about certain important administrative matters relating to Jammu and Kashmir Police, initiatives undertaken by the Police for time bound completion of projects under its modernization programme, improving upon the capabilities of Police personnel through various Capacity Building Programmes and enhancing basic amenities for the Police personnel.
Governor stressed transparency and quality in routine working at all levels in the Police Department. He emphasised ensuring welfare of families of all police personnel particularly those who lay down their lives while performing their duty.
