Interlocutor meets Governor, discuss security, polls

Governor Malik in conversation with interlocutor Dineshwar Sharma at Rajbhavan on Friday

Srinagar: Dineshwar Sharma, Government of India’s Special Representative for Dialogue in J&K, called on Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here today.
“Governor and Sharma discussed a range of issues relating to the internal security situation, developmental scenario, initiatives required for restoration of peace and normalcy and regaining the trust and confidence of the youth in the State,” reads a statement issued by the Rajbhawan here.
“Governor and Sharma discussed crucial importance of empowering people through upcoming ULB and Panchayat polls and strengthening democratic institutions at grass root level for ensuring holistic development of the State.”
