Bandipora encounter: Bodies of both militant recovered, identity being ascertained

Srinagar: Government forces on Friday recovered body of second militant who was killed in encounter with government forces in Sumular area in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district yesterday.
Official sources said that the body was lying in the area from yesterday and could not be recovered amid ongoing operation and apprehension of firing by the militants suspected to be hiding in the woods.
Army’s Srinagar based defense spokesman Col Rajesh Kalia said that while body of one of the slain militant was recovered on Thursday, the other body was recovered on wee hours of Friday. Regarding identity and group affiliation of the slain duo, he said that same was being ascertained.
