KARGIL: Executive Officer, Municipal Committee, Kargil, today said the open defection is completely prohibited within the jurisdiction of Municipal Committee, Kargil.

“Any person found defection in open shall be imposed with a fine of Rs200/= and persons found urinating in open shall be imposed with a fine of Rs100/= and the habitual and chronic defaulters shall be booked under relevant provision of law,” the officer said.
