Shopian: Sugan village of Shopian in south kashmir has been hit witban acute shortage of portable water fromnpast two weeks. The village has been forces to ask for water from adjascent areas.
Vakil ahmad a of resident Sugan told INS that they had lodged a complaint to concerned department several times but no attention was given to grievances.
” If PHE approves 50 pipes and established so to kandramun, which is a spring the difficulty of the village will solve forever, ” Ahmad said.
Villages like ustadpora, dragud, sugan chillipora, kashiva Reshipora of Tehsil chitrgam areas face same problem.
Xen PHE shopian Nisar Ahmad said that they will look into the matter.
“Water supply to the village will be restored soon, ” he said.
