Govt warns officers for non-complying with transfer

Srinagar: “Viewing seriously” non-joining of new postings by officers’ under orders of transfer, the government has warned action if the transferees fail to join new postings by September 10.
“It has been brought to the notice of the Government that certain officers transferred in the recent past have not joined their new places of postings and are continuing at their previous places of postings without any authorization. The matter has been viewed seriously,” reads a government order issued here.
“It is enjoined upon the officers concerned who have been transferred under different Government Orders in the recent past but have not joined their new places of postings, to do so without any further delay by 10.09.2018, failing which action as warranted under rules will follow,” the order added.
