Pulwama: A complete shutdown is being  observed in Pulwama against the killing of Fayaz Ahmad Wani (25), of chewa kalan village in the southern Kashmir district.

All shops and business establishments were closed while as public transport was substantially off from the roads. Schools were also closed.

According to DC Pulwama classwork in all the higher secondary schools of Tehsil Pulwama, Rajpora and Kakapora, including Degree college for Boys Pulwama and Women Degree College Pulwama, shall remain suspended today as a precautionary measure.

Fayaz ahmad wani was injured in clashes with  forces near chewa kalan village of Pulwama in south kashmir. He later succumbed to injuries .

Earlier on Monday wee hours Goverment forces launched Corden and search operation in 18 villages of pulwama.
