Srinagar: Administrative secretary of ARI & Trainings department has been reportedly arrested by Crime Branch of State Police  for tampering documents related to his date of birth.

Mairaj ul Din Khan commonly known as MD Khan was earlier administrative secretary of consumer affairs and public distribution department and Agriculture Production department.

Khan has allegedly changed his date of birth from November 1958 to November 1961, reports said on Saturday.

As per reports Khan was arrested last evening and some documents have also been seized from him.
