Forces beat police Sub-Inspector’s father in Tral

Tral: Government forces on Thursday allegedly beat up father of a Sub-Inspector in Jammu and Kashmir Police at Nazneenpora Hayuna village of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Reports said that forces beat up Bashir Ahmad Bhat, father of Sub Inspector of Police Tahir Bashir Bhat of Tral.
The family of the victim alleged that he has suffered fracture in his arm and demanded stern and immediate action against the security personnel involved in the incident.
A senior police official has said police has taken cognizance of the matter. “We are ascertaining who is involved in beating up of the police officer’s father,” the senior police officer said.
