Jammu: Government forces recovered arms and ammunition during a search operation in Poonch district of Jammu division.

“Acting proactively on a tipoff, joint teams of the Army and JK Police launched asearch operations in the arduous topography of Kath Panjal nala in general area Chapriyan, Poonch district and busted a terrorist hideout of arms and ammunition on 09 Aug 18,” police said.
The cache includes one AK-56 Rifle with three magazines, one 7.62 rifle of foreign origin, four pistols with seven empty magazines, one revolver, four empty AK-47 magazines, 14 grenades, two water bottles, two bags, 273 rounds of AK 47 rifle, 97 rounds of AK 56 rifle, 31 rounds of pistol.
