Article 35A: Protests against abrogation in Sopore, Ganderbal

Srinagar: Protest demonstrations against scrapping article 35 A of Indian constitution continued in Kashmir valley. While Kashmir Economic Alliance protested in Srinagar, various organisations protested in Sopore and lawyers staged protest in District Ganderbal.
Scores of members of coordination committee sopore, constituting civil society, traders federation, teachers forum Baramulla, fruit growers and dealers association, DawnNGO,  private school teachers association and Anjuman Moin-ul Islam sopore held a peaceful protest demonstration at the vicinity of jamia Masjid sopore against the attempts to abrogate article 35-A.

District Bar Association Ganderbal also protested against abrogation of Article 35-A and, president District Bar Association Ganderbal Sajad Salati, told gathering that This article is the only link of state of Jammu and Kashmir with India.

The Bar Assocaition hailed the decision of high court Bar Association Jammu for their support in just and common cause of entire state irrespective of cast colour, creed and religion.

In Sopore the protest was lead by president Anjuman Moin-ul islam sopore Aziz Ahmad bhat.
