The members from both these organisations took out a protest rally from downtown to uptown area of Tral. They were also seen chanting slogans and holding banners and placards in their hands, calling for upholding the Article-35A.

Mohammad Ashraf Wani, General secretary, civil society Tral, said that people will never let abrogation of Article-35A happen.

“They are trying to see the patience level of Kashmiri people and people here will never bear such attempts which can impact the special status of J&K,” Ashraf said. The protests later concluded peacefully at Bus stand Tral.
