Pakistan: At least 18 members of a family were killed in Pakistan on the National Highway near Hala after a trailer rammed into their bus, on Monday.

The family was returning from wedding in Sakrand area and had stopped to change the tyre hen a trailer rammed into the stationary vehicle, Dawn reported.

The report quoted Edhi rescue teams that around 30 people are injured and have been evacuated to Liaquat University Hospital in Hyderabad. “At least six were in critical condition,” they said.

Cranes are being used to lift the wreck as rescue officials fear that there could be more people trapped underneath it.
