TRAL : Bomb disposal squad on Friday diffused a grenade at South Kashmir’s Tral in Pulwama district.
Reports said that a rusty grenade was lying in Hayuna area of Tral, where a fierce encounter took place in the month of June, which claimed the lives of three JeM militants.
The grenade was diffused by Bomb disposal squad after the locals found it inside an orchrad near the encounter site.
“It seemed the grenade had been lying there since the encounter time. Some locals found it and informed the police. Accordingly a Bomb Disposal Squad rushed to spot and diffused it today,” said an official.
