VC KU releases Prof Tareen’s ‘Rise of Barefoot Boy’

SRINAGAR, JULY 03: A book titled “Rise of Barefoot Boy” written by former Vice Chancellor Kashmir University Prof J A K Tareen was today released by Vice Chancellor, Kashmir University, Prof. Khursheed Andrabi at Gandhi Bawan auditorium, Kashmir University.

The function was organized by Kashmir Private Unaided B.Ed Colleges Association.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. Andrabi lauded the Prof. J A K Tareen for writing such a knowledgeable book.

He also shared his experience of working with Prof Tareen and complimented him for his great work during his tenure.

Prof. Andrabi also thanked the University academicians and students for making the University achieve 47th rank among top 50 Universities in India.

Prof Tareen thanked the university authority for the love and support shown during book release function. During his speech, he shared his experience of working in Kashmir University as Vice Chancellor. While talking about his book, he said that the book talks about the importance of education in Kashmir, art and science of administrations in universities and future of universities in India and need of art of living while facing difficulties.

During the function Dean Academic Affairs, officials from Kashmir University, teachers from B.Ed Colleges, columnists, educationists and students were present.
