Vohra orders business relating to GAD, Estates, Info,CAH&P to be submitted to advisors

Srinagar: The governor on Wednesday ordered that business relating to the Departments of General Administration, Civil Aviation, Hospitality & Protocol, Estates and Information shall be submitted by the concerned Administrative Secretaries to his Advisors through Chief Secretary till further orders.

As per an SRO 290 issued here in pursuance of the Jammu and Kashmir Delegation of Powers Act, the governor ordered that the powers already delegated to the Administrative Secretaries on June 23 shall continue to be exercised by them, the SRO added.

The SRO said that matters involving major policy decisions or having substantial financial implications shall be submitted by the Administrative Secretary concerned to the Advisor through the Chief Secretary.

The Governor direct  that in respect of the Departments allocated to Advisors vide notification SRO-282 of 2018 dated 23rd June, 2018, all the cases  which are required to be submitted to the Cabinet in terms of Schedule-II of the Jammu and Kashmir Government Business Rules shall be submitted by the Administrative departments with the approval of the concerned Advisor to the State Administrative Council through the Chief Secretary.

In respect of the Departments allocated to Advisors vide notification on June 23, all cases which are required to be submitted to the Chief Minister in co-ordination or the Governor in terms of Schedule-III and Schedule-IV of the Jammu and Kashmir Government Business Rules shall be submitted by the Administrative Department concerned with the prior approval of the concerned Advisor to the Governor through Chief Secretary;

“Cases involving major policy decisions or having substantial financial implications shall be submitted by the Administrative Secretary concerned to the Advisor through the Chief Secretary,” it added.
