Rifle snatching bid foiled in Shopian

Srinagar: A rifle snatching bid was foiled at Jammu and Kashmir Bank branch Pinjora in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday after unidentified person attacked them.

Sources said the attackers, three in number, used chili powder however couldn’t succeed in snatching 12 bore rifle.

“The bank guard fought back and forced the unidentified persons to flee,” they said.
