Tral: At least eights government forces personnel have been injured in a grenade attack in uptown area of Tral in Pulwama district on friday.
The injured, according to initial reports, belong to CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police.
Locals said that soon after Friday prayers, clashes erupted in the area and protesters resorted to stone pelting near tehsil office.
“An explosion was heard there,” they said.
Soon after the attack, forces retaliated with aerial firing. Meanwhile, all the injured security personnel have been shifted to hospital for treatment.
