Vohra seeks status reports by tomorrow regarding recruitment rules, other six issues

Srinagar: The Governor N N Vohra on Wednesday sought status report by tomorrow regarding finalization of the recruitment rules, compassionate appointment cases under SRO-43 of 1994, regularization cases of casual seasonal labours and updation of seniority lists in a time bound manner.
Following a meeting chaired by him in the Civil Secretariat Srinagar, the governor inter-alia directed that all the Administrative Departments shall submit the status report in respect finalization of the Recruitment Rules, updation of seniority lists in a time bound manner, compassionate Appointment cases under SRO-43 of 1994 and regularization cases of casual/seasonal labours in terms of SRO -520 of 2017 and any order issued by the Departments on 19 June 2018.
The governor has also sought report regarding APRs pending with Reviewing, Accepting Authority, list of officers and officials who have not filed Annual Property Statement.
“It has further been directed that no officer/Head of Department shall leave the station without seeking prior permission from the competent authority,” reads instructions issued here.
Accordingly, the governor has directed all the Administrative Secretaries and Heads of the Departments to adhere to the instructions in letter and spirit and submit its compliance report ,to the General Administration Department by or before “21 June 2018, 11.00 a.m. sharp.’
