Jammu: Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman Wednesday met family of Sepoy Aurangzeb, who was abducted and killed by militants, in J&K’s Poonch.

He was abducted in Pulwama by militants and later his bullet-ridden body was recovered on June 14.

“One message I can take back from here is that here’s a family, here’s a martyr, who stands out as an inspiration for entire nation,” Defence Min Nirmala Sitharaman told reporters after meeting slain army mans family.

Earlier Army general Bipin Rawat too flew to Poonch and met the family members of the Army man.
