Srinagar: Two policemen were injured after militants attack a police party near Galanader Pampore on Srinagar-Jammu highway on Wednesday evening.

Sources said that militants attacked the armed police’s party at Khandizaal area of Galander Pampore, resulting in injuries to two policemen who have been shifted to hospital. While one of them Tanveer Ahmad, who has suffered bullet injury on head, has been referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment, another Mudasir Ahmad has been admitted in SDH Pampore.  They said entire area has been cordoned off and searches launched.
