Srinagar: Suspected militants opened fire on Police check point near Dental college Nawab Bazaar  in Srinagar city.

Initial reports said that that militants opened fire on Police checkpoint near Dental college NawaBazaar.

Militants have managed to escape from the spot, reports said.

Reports said that the whole area has been cordoned off. More details to follow
