Militants abduct Army personnel in Pulwam

Pulwama:   Militants on Thursday abducted an army man of 44 rashtriya rifles from Qalampora village of Pulwama when he was travelling from Shadimarg to Shopian in  a private vehicle.

Police sources said that Sepoy Aurangzeeb posted at Shadimarg was on way to Shopian in a private vehicle which was stopped by militants near Qalampora village and abducted him.

They said that massive searches have been launched to trace the army man. Senior superintendant of police for Pulwama, Aslam Chaudhary said that they have received reports about abduction of an army man.

On Wednesday a police man was abducted from a Pulwama village and latter he was released.
