Srinagar: National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Mr. Omar Abdullah have greeted the people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Praying for peace and prosperity in the State, Dr. Farooq Abdullah in his message said “The spirit behind the observance of Eid-ul-Fitr is to express our thanks to Almighty Allah for giving us the courage to observe fasting in the month of Ramazan and rededicate ourselves to the path of truthfulness, sincerity, self-control, patience and human dignity”.

In his message on Eid-ul-Fitr, NC Vice President Omar Abdullah has extended his warmest greetings to the people of the State and prayed this auspicious occasion becomes a new harbinger for peace and amity in the State. He also hoped that this auspicious occasion would strengthen the bonds of communal harmony and brotherhood.

Senior Party Leaders, legislators and functionaries have also greeted people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and prayed for peace, stability and prosperity in the State.
