Sopore: A man was mowed down by a train in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as 42 year old Ghulam Mohammad Rather son of Ali Mohammad Rather resident of Chekpora Hygam.

The incident took place today afternoon at Hygam resulting to his on spot death, sources said.

Meanwhile a case has been registered in this regard.
