Weapon snatching bid foiled in Kulgam

Police on Friday claimed to have foiled a rifle snatching by suspected militants in Wanpoh area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

Sources said that the a scuffle broke out between militants and police cop guarding former legislature of PDP at Wanpoh.

Sources added that after the militants tried hard to snatch rifle, cop resisted and foiled. However no exchange of firing took place.Weapon snatching
