Kupwara: Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday said that decision to extend Ramzan ceasefire would be taken after proper consultations with the public representatives of Jammu and Kashmir.

Singh was talking to reporters in district Kupwara.
“ New Delhi has taken some measures and further steps would also be taken for the welfare of border population,” Home Minister Rajnath Singh said.

“Five IR Battalions will be raised and sixty percent of the vacancies for these IR battalions will be reserved for the people of border areas,” Rajnath announced.
