Pulwama: Clashes between government forces and protesters eruptedin Pulwama town as it observes shutdown against killing of a local militant in Tangdhar on May 26. He was identified by family through his pictures.

According to locals body of slain  militant, Sheeraz ahmad from lajoura village of pulwama is on way on from Tangdhar.

“Youths assembled near police station, pelted stones who retailed with tear gas cannisters,” locals told INS.

“The family has received the body and is on way to to pulwama where his last rites will be observed,” locals claimed.

Massive stone pelting was going on when the report was filed.
