Srinagar: Qaisar Amin Bhat, who was mowed to death by a CRPF vehicle in Nowhatta yesterday was laid to rest at Mazar e Shuhad on Saturday.

Government forces earlier resorted to tear smoke shelling and chili gas firing on mourners of Qaisar the Fateh Kadal youth.

Local sources said that many sustained injuries in forces action at Fateh Kadal chowk.
A large number of people participated in the last rites of slain Qaiser. They participated in his funeral prayers and amid high pitched sloganeering, shouldered his body to Mazar-e-Shuhda.
Kaiser, 21, was crushed down by the Central Reserve Police Force vehicle in the downtown area of Nowhatta during protests on Friday.
