Pulwama firing: Train services suspended from Srinagar to Banihal; internet snapped

Srinagar: In wake of the civilian’s killing at Kakapora area of Pulwama, railway authorities have decided to suspend train services to and fro from Srinagar to Banihal.

“In wake of the apprehension of law and order especially in Pulwama, train services from Srinagar to Banihal and vice-versa shall remain suspended on Monday,” a railway official said. However, he said that the train services from Srinagar to Baramulla shall operate as per schedule.

Meanwhile, reports said, authorities have suspended internet service in the Pulwama district.
