Kashmiri attacked in Manali: It’s scuffle, says police

Srinagar: Reacting to news reports that a Kashmiri was attacked in Manali, police on Saturday said that after ascertaining the facts from concerned authorities it was learnt that the matter pertained to the scuffle.
“The new item reported by various media houses that one Kashmir based person has been attacked in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, in reference to this news report it is clarified that after ascertaining the facts from concerned authorities it was learnt that the matter pertained to the scuffle and the concerned Police Station in Manali has taken cognizance of this incident and registered a case FIR No: 105/2018 under section 451, 323, 504, 506 IPC in this regard,” a police spokesman said. “Police Officials from Manali have assured of proper action in this matter. Police Officials from Kashmir are in touch with their counterparts from Manali.”
