The Delhi police on Saturday arrested four persons a day after a group of four people from Kashmir were beaten up in southeast Delhi on Thursday night. The victims, including three women, were allegedly surrounded and beaten up by a group of people. “The fight was over feeding stray dogs,” police said, the report mentioned, Indian Express reported.

On Thursday, a 40-year-old man from Srinagar and his three sisters, who live in southeast Delhi’s Sunlight Colony, were beaten up by a group of residents who wielded sticks and allegedly called them ‘Kashmiri terrorists’. Multiple complaints were filed from both sides and the residents alleged that the siblings would feed dogs in the vicinity, which attracted more canines and caused a menace, police said.

However, a victim said, “Attackers raised slogans ‘Kashmiri terrorists go back’. People want us to leave this area. We are staying here for years on rent.”

A video of the incident shows some people, including women, arguing with and assaulting the victims. One of the siblings is seen slumped next to a car and being pulled by someone in the crowd
