Sopore : An army man on Thursday morning shot himself dead with his rifle in Kunzar area of district Baramulla in north Kashmir.
Official sources said that an army personnel of 2 Rashtriya Rifles posted at Kunzar identified as Sepoy Gurdeep Singh belt number 4492653/L shot himself today morning with his service riffle while he was on duty.
Sources further added that he was taken to military hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
Meanwhile police party visited the spot and are investigating the matter.
