2 youth suffer bullet wounds as clashes erupt amid gunfight in Shopian village

Shopian: Two youth have been injured with bullet wounds near encounter site at Terkiwangam as people mainly youth clashed with government forces in a bid to help militants escape, sources said.
A gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday afrenoon.
Official sources said that a joint team of army, CRPF and SOG laid a siege around Terkiwangam village on Saturday afternoon. Soon after youth took to streets and clashed with government forces. Two youth have suffered bullet wounds and have been shifted to hospital. There was no official confirmation so far. Emerging story, more details awaited.
