A top official privy to the discussions going on over the issue told INS that for 2018 exams will be held as per existing academic calendar.

“The committee formed to look in to possibility and feasibility of shifting the academic calendar to March session will table its report but for this year its November session in place,” he told, wishing not to be named though.

He also confided that shifting to March session, decision has not been taken yet but ‘for 2019 nothing is decided yet’.

“Let 2019 come, nothing is final for that,” he confided.
