Militants attack police post, decamp with 4 rifles in Budgam

Srinagar: Suspected militants on Wednesday attacked a police post and decamped with four service rifles including two SLRs, one Insas and a carbine at Goripora in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
A police officer said a group of militants attacked an armed guard of JKAP 13 battalion at Budgam and decamped with 4 service rifles of policemen. Soon police and other government forces reached the area and cordon off it. However, when this report was filed no arrests were made.
