Green Valley Edu Institute observes World Book Day, hosts inter-school debate

Srinagar: Green Valley Educational Institute observed World Book Day and held an inter-school debate at its premises here on Monday.
Many students from top schools of Kashmir participated in the debate and spoke on the topic: “Have e-books outdated the conventional reading?”
Mukaram from Kashmir Harvard bagged the First prize in the debate competition while as Mallison school’s Zainab and Burnhall school’s Kumail Muzaffar bagged second and third prize respectively.
Mohammad Yousuf Wani, Chairman GVEI and Tariq Bhat, CEO Associated Media, were present on the occasion.
Students of GVEI, one of the leading schools of Kashmir, exhibited their photographs and Artwork while observing World Book Day—an annual event, organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, on 23 April every year to promote reading, publishing and copyright.
