Govt forms panel for draft rules on establishment of Drugs De-addiction Centres

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday constituted a committee for formulation of the draft rules for establishment of Drugs De-addiction Centres in the State.
“Sanction is accorded to the constitution of a committee, comprising the following, for formulation of the draft rules under Section 71 & 78 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985, for establishment of Drugs De-addiction Centres in the State,” reads an order issued by the government.
Headed by administrative Secretary, Finance Department, the committee has three members—one representatives each from home department and health & medical education department and social welfare department not below rank of special secretary.
