“The interview was held in 2007 but since years the final selection list is yet to be declared,” aggrieved aspirants told INS.

They claimed that the court had directed the administration in 2015 to declare the final selection list of the short listed candidates in 4 weeks.

“However, the administration flouts court orders as they are yet to declare the list,” they claimed.

The candidates while demanding the selection list said that they are facing tremendous hardships due to the delay in publicizing the selection list of the candidates.

The posts were alloted to the most of working departments  including Public  Health Engineering (PHE), Irrigation and Flood control department, forest department, education department and rural developments department.

“After passing eight years authorities are yet to release the selection list of the candidates,” they complained.

The aspirants appealed higher authorities to look into the matter and redress their genuine demands as soon as possible.

They said if the higher authorities didn’t take this ‘matter seriously they will go on hunger strike’.

DDC Baramulla Naseer Naqash, told INS that they will be declaring the list before April 30.
