Army porter killed in ceasefire violation in Uri

Baramulla: India Pakistan troops traded gunfire in Uri on Monday and an army porter with 4 Madras unit was killed in the ceasefire violation in Chaukas area near the Line of Control at around 10:40 am.

Police identified the killed army porter as Khursheed Ahmad (37), son of Muhammad Sharif, a resident of Nawa Runda.

He was hit by a bullet in his neck and grenade splinters in both legs in.
