Kulgam civilian’s killing triggers brief protest by students in Sopore

Sopore: Students in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district staged protests as soon as news about killing of civilian in Kulgam spread early on Wednesday.
A group of students after returning from tuition centres assembled at Iqbal market in Sopore town and tried to block the road against civilian killings and pelted stones at forces. However, situation was restored to normalcy in the area.
Meanwhile, authorities in Degree College Sopore suspended class work as a precautionary measure.
