Jammu: Two army personnel have been killed after Pakistan opened heavy fire along the Line of Control in Sunderbani sector of Jammu division of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

“Pakistan Army initiated firing of Small arms, automatics, and mortars on Monday evening from 1715 hrs in Sunderbani sector along the Line of Control (LC),” spokesman said.

Indian Army retaliated effectively responded to ceasefire violation, however, in the exchange of fire, Riflemen Vinod Singh and Jaki Sharma were grievously injured and succumbed to their injuries, he said.
