Nocturnal raids in volatile Palhalan, arrests ‘stone pelting’ youth

Srinagar: Police has arrested three youth from volatile Palhalan area of Baramulla district during nocturnal raids in Friday night.

According to locals nocturnal raids were carried out by police in Raipora area of Palhalan and arrested three youth from the area.

Clashes had erupted between protesting youth and police over south kashmir killings that have rattled whole valley including Jammu areas too.

“Three youth detained are accused of being stone pelters.

Police however claims, according to reports, that only two youth have been detained and has said that he detained where involved in stone throwing incident.
