Clashes erupted in Kangan area of Ganderbal District of Central Kashmir.

Stone pelting youth clashes with government forces after rumours that the injured youth has succumbed at SKIMS on Tuesday.

While police has denied the reports asking people to not to heed to rumours protesters defied restrictions imposed in the areas. Government forces resorted to tear gas shelling to disperse the protesters.
Medical Superentendent SKIMS Dr Farooq Jan told INS said Kangan youth Gowhar Ahmad Rather is alive but continued to be critical.
